HubSpot Service Hub is HubSpot's customer service software: a help desk, knowledge base, customer portal and AI support agent built on the HubSpot CRM your sales and marketing teams already use. For a growing support team, that shared customer data is the main draw: it makes personalized support possible at scale.
But Service Hub rarely works alone. Support tickets turn into bugs for engineering, incidents for IT and feature requests for product teams, and those teams usually live in Jira, ServiceNow or Azure DevOps.
In this guide, we cover what HubSpot Service Hub does, its key features, current pricing (including the one time onboarding fee and HubSpot Credits), and the integrations that connect it to the rest of your stack.
What is HubSpot Service Hub?
HubSpot Service Hub is a customer service platform that helps teams deliver customer support, resolve customer issues and turn customers into promoters. It is one of the core products of the HubSpot customer platform, next to Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, Content Hub (formerly CMS Hub) and Data Hub.
Is Service Hub a CRM? It isn't stand-alone CRM software, but it runs on the HubSpot CRM platform. Every ticket, chat, call and survey response lands on the same contact and company record that marketing and sales teams use. Support agents see lead and deal data; sales teams see open tickets before a renewal call. That complete record is what separates Service Hub from stand-alone help desk tools.
In practice, these customer service tools and CRM tools cover three jobs:
- Scaling support: ticketing, a shared inbox, live chat, calling and SLA management.
- Self-service: a knowledge base, a customer portal and an AI agent that answers routine questions.
- Retention: customer feedback surveys, health scores and a customer success workspace that helps track recurring revenue.
Key HubSpot Service Hub features
Help desk and ticketing
The help desk is the core of Service Hub. Every email, chat, form submission and call becomes a ticket in a shared pipeline, so customer issues don't get lost in personal inboxes and every customer interaction is logged. The free plan includes basic ticketing and team email; Starter adds routing rules, simple ticket automation and multiple ticket pipelines.
On Service Hub Professional, agents work in the Help Desk Workspace: one screen with the ticket queue, the conversation, the customer's CRM record and AI-suggested replies. Professional also adds SLA management with response and resolution targets, while Enterprise adds skill-based routing and conditional SLAs.
Breeze Customer Agent
Customer Agent is HubSpot's AI support agent. It answers live chat and, since 2026, email inquiries 24/7, using your knowledge base and the customer's ticket history. When it can't resolve a question, it hands the conversation to a human with full context. HubSpot reports that teams spend 39% less time closing tickets with Customer Agent (HubSpot).
Knowledge base and customer portal
The knowledge base lets you publish help articles that customers can search before opening a ticket. The customer portal gives customers a secure, branded place to submit tickets, see their status and follow the full conversation. Both can run on a custom domain without HubSpot branding on paid plans.
Customer feedback surveys
Service Hub includes NPS, CSAT and CES surveys to measure customer experience at every stage. Customer feedback is stored on the contact record, so you can trigger follow-ups, alert account owners about detractors, or feed scores into marketing campaigns.
Customer Success Workspace
For post-sale teams, the Customer Success Workspace shows account health scores, renewal dates and prioritized tasks. It helps customer success managers manage customers proactively instead of waiting for tickets.
Reporting and analytics
Built-in analytics cover ticket volume, time to first response, time to close, agent performance and customer experience scores. Professional and Enterprise add custom reporting and a richer reporting dashboard, and Enterprise adds customer journey analytics.

What's new in HubSpot Service Hub in 2026
HubSpot shipped several Service Hub updates between spring and early autumn 2026 (Vantagepoint):
- Customer Agent on email: the AI agent now handles email, with gradual rollout controls and draft review before sending.
- Multi-brand Customer Agents: separate agents per brand, each with its own voice and knowledge base (requires the Brands add-on).
- Smarter capacity limits: help desk capacity now reflects active work, and the feature moved from Enterprise to Professional.
- Conversational setup: a Breeze assistant configures SLAs, pipelines and ticket defaults from plain-language requests.
- Onboarding Plans and a refreshed customer portal: milestone tracking for new customers, and a portal rebuilt on HubSpot's CMS with better search.
- Knowledge Base Agent (beta): turns successfully resolved tickets into draft help articles.
HubSpot Service Hub pricing
HubSpot pricing for Service Hub includes a free plan and three paid plans, billed per seat. How many users you need and your business needs decide the final cost. HubSpot moved Service Hub to seat-based pricing for new customers in March 2024 (HubSpot).
Prices in USD as of October 2026. Check HubSpot's pricing page for current offers.
What each plan is for
- Free plan: HubSpot's free tools for very small teams. The free plan offers ticketing, a shared inbox, live chat and basic reporting, with HubSpot branding. These free tools are a low-risk way to test the help desk features before you pay.
- Starter: removes HubSpot branding and adds routing rules, ticket automation, multiple pipelines and calling minutes. A good entry paid plan for a small support desk.
- Service Hub Professional: the plan most growing companies choose, at $90 per seat. It unlocks the Help Desk Workspace, Customer Agent, knowledge base, customer portal, customer feedback surveys and the Customer Success Workspace.
- Enterprise: for larger teams that need skill-based routing, conditional SLAs, advanced permissions, custom objects and customer journey analytics.
Costs to plan for
The seat price is only part of the bill. Budget for:
- The one time onboarding fee on Professional and Enterprise.
- HubSpot Credits for AI features. Customer Agent uses 50 credits (about $0.50) per resolved conversation since April 2026 (Macha).
- Bundles and other hubs. If you also buy Marketing Hub or Sales Hub, contact tiers and the price per seat in each hub add up.
- Integrations and training to connect Service Hub with the tools your other teams use.
On HubSpot plans, including Enterprise plans, view-only users are free, so managers and other teams can see records and reports without a paid seat.
How Service Hub works with Sales Hub, Marketing Hub and Data Hub
Because every hub shares one CRM, Service Hub data flows into the rest of the HubSpot customer platform without extra setup:
- Sales Hub: with HubSpot Sales Hub, sales teams access open tickets and satisfaction scores before a renewal or upsell call, which helps close more deals with existing customers. Support agents see deal data and where the account sits in the sales pipeline.
- Marketing Hub: customer feedback and ticket history can segment marketing emails, so you don't send an upsell campaign to a customer with an open escalation. Marketing tools such as landing pages and forms also turn website visitors into contacts that support recognizes later.
- Content Hub: handles content management for the knowledge base and customer portal pages, including custom domain support.
- Data Hub: keeps customer data clean and syncs it with external systems, with programmable automation for advanced workflows.
That's the main argument for Service Hub over a stand-alone help desk: one record of the customer relationship across marketing, sales and service. The limit is that this only covers teams working inside HubSpot.
HubSpot Service Hub integrations
HubSpot lists more than 2,000 integrations in its ecosystem (HubSpot). For support teams, the most useful ones fall into three groups.
Communication and productivity
Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Gmail/Outlook integrations send ticket alerts to the right channel, log calls and keep team email in sync. Zapier and Make cover simple, one-way automations.
Other help desks and CRMs
Many companies run Service Hub next to Zendesk, Freshdesk or Salesforce, often after an acquisition or while migrating. In that case, you need customer data and tickets to stay in sync in both systems. See our guides to HubSpot–Zendesk integration and Salesforce–HubSpot integration, or connect two HubSpot portals with a HubSpot–HubSpot integration.
Engineering and IT tools: Jira, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps
This is where most support processes break. A customer reports a bug, the agent copies it into Jira, and from then on the support team chases engineers for updates. The customer waits, and the ticket in HubSpot goes stale.
HubSpot offers a native Jira app that creates or links Jira issues from tickets and pulls status and comments back. It works for basic escalations, but it has gaps: Marketplace reviewers mention no custom field mapping, sync delays and disconnects, and the app holds a 2.7/5 rating from 87 reviews (HubSpot Marketplace). Automating on Jira properties also requires Service Hub Professional or Enterprise.

Two-way HubSpot sync with Getint
Getint's HubSpot integration gives support and engineering a real two-way sync between HubSpot and the tools your other teams work in:
- Objects: tickets, contacts, companies and deals.
- What syncs: statuses, comments, attachments, notes and custom fields, with field mapping and filters that control which records sync.
- Direction: one-way or two-way, so an update on either side shows up on the other.
- Setup: no code; most teams have the first integration running in minutes. Hosting is SaaS or on-premise, with ISO 27001, ISO 27018 and SOC 2 Type II compliance.
Popular HubSpot connections:
For example, Fortress OS keeps sales and support in HubSpot and engineering in Jira. With Getint, HubSpot tickets create and update Jira issues, including status, comments, attachments and a satisfaction survey field (case study).

Pros, cons and who Service Hub is best for
Service Hub is a good fit if you already use HubSpot for marketing or sales, you're a client focused business that wants support and revenue teams on one customer record, and your support volume is growing faster than headcount, and customer experience is a priority.
Look closer at your setup if your engineering or IT teams work in Jira, ServiceNow or Azure DevOps. Plan the integration from day one, so escalations don't turn into copy-paste work.
